Document Imaging Solutions

In a business environment where organizations are looking for ways to cut costs and increase productivity, document imaging systems are providing the most dramatic impact since the copy machine replaced carbon paper.

Our DIS System

The unique Document Imaging Solution features an intuitive Adobe Acrobat Plug-In that allows us to scan your documents into a computer at close to a second a page. The document is then labeled by single or multiple pages and filed on CDs or an external hard drive. With this method, we can easily store in excess of 20,000 documents on a one CD, or 2,667,000 documents on a 80 GB external hard drive.

Because our Document Imaging Solution is based on Adobe Acrobat, it can easily be web-enabled for sharing your documents. Our unique labeling system allows your search criteria to be tagged by the leading search engines. Developed for the Federal Government, Adobe's PDF format is the most versatile document imaging system available today. It has rapidly become the standard format for emailing forms, letters and publications while maintaining graphics, tables and pictures.

Scanning Process

We want to provide you with a step-by-step overview of how our system converts a paper document into a searchable electronic PDF document. The process can be broken down into four easy steps:

  1. Scanning the document through a high-speed scanner,
  2. Labeling the document to retrieve it through the system,
  3. Converting the document to the PDF format and saving it to the hard drive or server,
  4. Creating an index (database) so the end-users (your personnel) can retrieve the document through the system.
End Result

Once all the documents have been imaged, all employees permitted to view the documents will easily be able to at one time allowing information to flow more freely. The benefit is straightforward: immediate access to documents results in greater office efficiency and greater productivity. The ability of our document imaging system to cut cost and increase productivity is simply unparalleled by any other cost reduction strategy.
